Christian Möbius
Managing Director
Christian is a geologist with 14 years of experience in the industry. After starting his career at the Anglo American mining company, he specialized in Petroleum Geoscience and worked as an oil well logging engineer, project manager for solution-mining projects, and lastly as an exploration geologist at Hansa Hydrocarbons, where he was instrumental in the 2017 discovery of the largest offshore gas field in the Netherlands and Germany in 25+ years, N05-A. Christian previously co-founded Tsavorite Legacy, where he led the evaluation and recommissioning of the world’s first Tsavorite gemstone mine in Kenya.
Alexander Mollinger
Director
Alexander Mollinger has 20 years’ experience in natural resources worldwide, in both public and private equity backed companies.
He is the COO of an oil and gas company active in the North Sea and Africa. He is also a visiting lecturer at the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) in Paris, France.
Previously, Alexander was the advisor to the Executive Chairman and CEO of Cove Energy plc, where he guided the company through a monthslong bidding war and a US$ 2 billion sale to Thailand’s national energy company, PTT. Prior to that, he worked for Shell. Alexander has an MBA from INSEAD in France, and an BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
Benedikt Steiner
Technical Director, PhD, ARSM, CGeol
Benedikt Steiner (ARSM CGeol EurGeol FHEA) is the MSc Programme Director of Exploration and Mining Geology at the Camborne School of Mines, one of the world’s leading integrated mining schools. Benedikt started his career in regional petroleum exploration in the Eastern FSU before moving on to work on Rio Tinto Exploration’s uranium & copper exploration projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. More recently, he carried out projects in France, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Myanmar.
Benedikt is a published expert in mineral exploration geochemistry and focuses on integrating geochemical with other geoscientific techniques in order to aid exploration targeting.
Jeronimo Wolf
Head of Operations and Exploration Geologist
Jerónimo graduated in 2020 with excellent results from Argentina's most prestigious geoscience university, the University of La Plata. He completed his thesis at Veladero, one of Argentina's largest gold mines, operated by Barrick Gold of Canada, where he addressed challenges related to the company's current $34 million mine life extension plan. He is particularly passionate about geophysics and structural geology.
